Sayyed Abdul-Malik: Saudi claim of targeting Mecca is a ‘great and heinous lie’

The Leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi has strongly condemned the great slander and fabrication issued by the Saudi enemy against the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces—namely the claim that Yemen targeted Mecca—affirming that it is a “great, ugly, and heinous lie,” a manifest and exposed sin, and one of the most atrocious falsehoods and rumors launched by the Saudi enemy against the Muslim Yemeni people.

In a speech addressing the latest developments, the leader explained that the Saudi enemy is repeating this fabrication to try to gain some traction among parties accustomed to quickly adopting its lies and issuing ready-made condemnations based on them.

He noted that the Saudi regime launched this same lie in previous periods and it gained no traction among any rational person in the Islamic world. “No Muslim with an atom of respect for their Islamic belonging could believe or accept such a fabrication against a people whom the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) testified as ‘Yemen of Faith and Wisdom.'”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik stated that the Saudi regime, through this limited impact that did not even convince every Saudi, is eager through this fabrication to incite others against Yemen and involve them with it, in addition to trying to create flimsy justifications for its aggressive crimes and distort the righteous position and just cause of the Yemeni people, who are exercising their right and affirming the legitimate and necessary defense to protect their land and people.

Verbal Aggression as a Grave Crime

The leader considered that crimes in Islamic and humanitarian understanding are not limited to direct military aggression but include verbal and speech crimes when issued as a great fabrication and manifest sin.

He affirmed that this fabrication represents one of the most atrocious crimes and ugliest forms of aggression targeting the Yemeni nation in its Islamic, humanitarian, and moral honor.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik stressed that the Yemeni people are among the most honorable peoples on earth in adhering to Islamic values, noble morals, and strict commitment to Sharia and ethical standards.

He affirmed that if a comparison were conducted from any fair angle in the world for reality and morals, it would show that the Yemeni people stand at the forefront of peoples in this regard.

He noted that the Saudi enemy is trying to assault this Islamic, humanitarian, and value-based honor through this horrific fabrication, while simultaneously pushing others to involve them in the aggression and injustice against this people.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik pointed out that this fabrication is first and foremost a blatant violation of the sanctity and sacredness of Mecca, while the aggressive Saudi regime tries to hide behind this sacredness and exploit it politically—despite it being a sanctity revered and glorified by all Muslims, foremost among them the Muslim Yemeni people, considered among the greatest peoples on earth in sanctifying holy sites, glorifying God’s rituals, and respecting Islam’s landmarks.

He elaborated that the reality of the Yemeni people testifies to their precedence among all peoples in glorifying, revering, and being zealous for Islamic sanctities.

He recalled that when any offense is issued by the true enemies of Islam whom the Saudi regime allies with—the Zionist Jews—against Islam, the Holy Quran, the Prophet, or Mecca, the entire Yemeni people come out in massive demonstrations, declare clear positions, and engage in wide movement expressing sincere belonging in a manner unparalleled in the rest of the Islamic world.

The leader noted that the Yemeni people possess deeply rooted faith-based belonging as descendants of the Ansar who supported Islam at the beginning of the call and carried the banner—the people of Islamic conquests who carry the banner in this era as their fathers and grandfathers did before.

He asked: “How can such a vile accusation be directed at them and Mecca’s sanctity be exploited to deceive and fabricate against them, while all Muslims should restrain the Saudi regime from this despicable exploitation serving its unjust aggression and tyrannical siege?”

He stressed that the souls, lives, wealth, and everything the Yemenis possess are a sacrifice for Mecca and all Islamic sanctities, and that the Yemeni people are the most eager and prepared to protect and defend them at any stage of danger with all they possess and for the sake of God Almighty throughout time.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik considered that this fabrication from “Qarun of the age,” “the horn of Satan,” and “the source of earthquakes and strife” reveals the extent of vileness and degradation the Saudi regime has reached in employing ugly fabrications and launching heinous lies that dared to touch the sanctity of Mecca and the honor of a mujahid people and their Armed Forces.

He affirmed that the regime does not shy away from launching the false and exposed lie of the age due to its debauchery, corruption, immorality, and bad position, confirming that describing this regime as evil is the precise and established description in truth and reality.

The Moral Nature of the Saudi Regime

The leader addressed the moral nature of the Saudi regime, noting it is known to our nation and the entire world for its debauchery, immorality, injustice, and criminality—witnessed by its horrific crimes against the Yemeni people, its pursuit of spreading corruption, moral dissolution, and indecency, bringing prostitutes to entertainment parties, dedicating its media to spreading debauchery and division, and seeking to incite strife among the Islamic world’s people and replace loyalty with Zionism.

These afflictions completely expose it before peoples and make it unsurprising for it to launch lies, deceit, and fabrications befitting its malice.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik condemned the positions of parties and regimes that pick up these lies and fabrications and issue condemnations without verification or investigation.

He affirmed that they thereby participate with the Saudi regime in sin and share in moral bankruptcy and explicit violation of God’s law and the Holy Quran’s teachings, testifying against themselves with false testimony because they are “listeners to falsehood, devourers of unlawful gain.”

He criticized those who rush to issue condemnations and weep over sanctities—regimes that fundamentally fail to support Muslims’ sanctities, abandon the Islamic nation, and take positions based on non-ethical, non-religious, and non-humanitarian calculations.

The correct Quranic position would have required them to verify and investigate, and to stand firmly if the news were true. But they are far from principles because their ties to the Saudi regime are based on material relations, devouring unlawful gain from petrodollars and narrow political gains—making them deviate from the Quran’s path and become partners in shame and disgrace, fallen in their vileness and actions contrary to Islam, and participants in the injustice against a Muslim people and a just cause.

Sayyed Abdul-Malik stressed that all regimes, kings, presidents, princes, figures calling themselves scholars, and partisan entities that adopted and picked up this fabrication bear, alongside the Saudi regime, full responsibility and sin before God Almighty.

In conclusion, the leader affirmed that there are Sharia and legal repercussions for launching this fabrication against the Yemeni people. He stressed that the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces reserve their full Sharia, legal, and moral right regarding this offense, aggression, fabrication, and injustice directed against Yemen of Faith and Wisdom, which remains loftier, purer, and more honorable than all false propaganda.

He extended an explicit and direct invitation to all who pretend to weep over sanctities to descend to the field of action and reality and test true zeal for the nation’s sanctities against the real and clear enemy—the Zionist Jewish enemy whose literature, statements, and plans openly declare targeting Mecca, Medina, Al-Aqsa Mosque, Quds, and all Muslims’ sanctities.
