The spokesman for the Government of Change and Construction, Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf Al-Din, praised the honest national interaction of citizens in defending the image of His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, who was recently subjected to a systematic smear campaign organized by the media of hostile countries and their mercenary mouthpieces.
The Minister of Information explained in a press statement that in the face of this malicious attack, citizens showed steadfast loyalty, patriotism and commitment to the values of the free Yemeni people, considering their quick and decisive response – on social media platforms – a strong message that the Yemeni people will not be affected by the lies, fabrications, rumors and propaganda of enemies and traitors.
He Addressed all the honorable people who participated in confronting the hostile campaign, he said: “Your voices have been heard, and you have proven, once again, that you are the impregnable shield of the homeland, and that your love for your homeland and your respect for its president exceed all desperate attempts to undermine his image and position in your hearts.”
The government spokesman added, “Your patriotism is a beacon of hope and inspiration for all of us. You have demonstrated the extent of national awareness and the ability of our people to distinguish right from wrong, and right from wrong.”
He stressed that the Ministry of Information will always remain confident in the national awareness of loyal free people and their ability to confront all attempts at distortion and misleading, as they are a source of strength, pride and the pillar of the nation’s renaissance.
It will work tirelessly with them to promote the truth, combat misleading information and hostile propaganda, and support the values of the Yemeni people. He noted that this spontaneous public expression reflects the people’s appreciation for His Excellency the President and his efforts for the sake of the nation, considering this popular cohesion with the leadership one of the greatest assets of the nation’s strength.
