The World Food Program confirmed last night that “the humanitarian needs in Gaza are enormous amid the return of displaced Palestinian families to their areas in the north of the Strip,” after about 16 months of Israeli genocide.
The program stressed, in a post on its account on the X platform, that “any hope for the recovery of the Gaza Strip requires a comprehensive humanitarian response with the cooperation of all UN agencies.”
He added: “With the return of displaced Palestinian families to northern Gaza, our teams are working to establish more distribution points to provide much-needed food.”
The United Nations program described the humanitarian needs in Gaza as “enormous.”
