Gaza’s Government Media office announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 591 martyrs in the past 72 hours.
At least 1,042 have been wounded, it added. Many others – an “unknown number” of people – remain stuck under the rubble, the office said in a statement
The office said more than 70 percent of those killed in the past days were women and children.
The office strongly condemned the Zionist enemy’s continued commission of massacres against defenseless civilians, calling on countries around the world and human rights organizations to condemn these crimes and take immediate action to prevent their continuation.
It also urged free peoples to take to the streets in widespread protests to reject this brutal aggression.
The office held the Zionist enemy and the American administration fully responsible for the ongoing mass killings and ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people, emphasizing that this aggression will neither intimidate nor break their resilience.
