22 Resistance Acts Recorded In West Bank Within 48 Hours

The Palestine Information Center last night reported that 22 resistance acts were registered in the occupied West Bank within 48 hours.

The center said, in a statement, that the resistance acts varied between armed clashes, confronting the settlers, and the outbreak of confrontations.

It pointed to the most prominent operations, which included the stabbing of an Israeli police officer by a Palestinian youth in the Old City of occupied Quds (Jerusalem). Armed clashes took place with Israeli forces in the town of Deir Abu Daif in Jenin, including the throwing of explosive devices in the town of Bir al-Basha in the same city.

The center explained that young men targeted Israeli vehicles storming Shweitra Street in Nablus with several pre-prepared explosive devices.

According to the information center, clashes erupted between young men and Israeli forces in several areas, including the Jalazone refugee camp, Kobar, Abu Shkheidam, and al-Mughayyir in Ramallah; Deir Abu Daif and Bir al-Basha in Jenin; Deir Istiya and Kafr ad-Dik in Salfit; Madama, Yatma, and Qabalan in Nablus; Tuqu’ and al-Khader in Bethlehem; and al-Arroub and Sa’ir refugee camps in Hebron.

The center stated that residents also confronted settlers in Deir Istiya in Salfit and added that demonstrations also erupted in Al-Quds.
