Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed that this barbaric Zionist aggression on Sana’a Airport, carried out on Wednesday, comes within the context of desperate attempts by the government of war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu, wanted by the International Criminal Court, to dissuade Yemen from its support for the Palestinian people in Gaza.
The movement said in a statement, “The Zionist aggression on Sana’a Airport is a desperate attempt by the criminal Netanyahu to dissuade brotherly Yemen and our brothers in the Ansarullah movement from their genuine positions in support of our people in Gaza, who are being subjected to ongoing genocide.
“This requires urgent Arab and international action to halt this Zionist aggression and put an end to its ongoing crimes against our people and the peoples of our nation.”
It added, “The repeated Zionist aggression on Sana’a Airport represents an extension of the criminal enemy’s policy of targeting our sister Arab countries through blatant attacks on civilian facilities, in a flagrant violation of state sovereignty and a clear expression of Zionist arrogance in the region, without the slightest respect for international law or humanitarian norms.”
