Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Sana’a, has revealed significant diplomatic rapprochement between the Yemeni capital and several major international powers.
“There is a rapprochement with very large countries, the details of which will be revealed in the coming days, ” Mohammed al-Houthi said in an interview with Almasirah TV this evening.
He added that Yemen’s position in the Red Sea serves Arab national security, emphasizing that many countries now clearly understand that Yemen’s stance is directly linked to Gaza.
“The Red Sea is closed to enemy ships, which are forced to take the longer and riskier Cape of Good Hope route, incurring more costs”
He reiterated Yemen’s firm position in support of Gaza, pointing out that the United States has failed in its war on Yemen and that Yemeni missile strikes forced Washington to halt its aggression.
