The Russian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement that it had bombed a container ship carrying military equipment to the Ukrainian port of Odessa with Iskander missiles.
The ministry explained that “the targeted ship was carrying 100 containers of military equipment, including boats, drones, and ammunition.”
Earlier, Russian Federation Council Vice-Speaker Dmitry Medvedev announced that “Russia will deliver to Ukraine a document containing its conditions for settling the conflict in the coming days.”
He pointed out, in a statement, that “the negotiation process with Ukraine is extremely complex and sensitive in many aspects.”
Yesterday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that “Russia will be ready to deliver to Ukraine a draft document on resolving the crisis once the prisoner exchange is completed.” This process began with the goal of exchanging 1,000 prisoners for 1,000 prisoners from both sides, as agreed upon in the Istanbul negotiations.
