United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) confirmed on Tuesday that the people of Gaza are facing the threat of famine.
UNRWA said in a statement, “The people of Gaza are facing the threat of famine after 19 months of conflict, mass displacement, and severe restrictions on aid.”
The UN agency added, “The blockade on Gaza must be lifted to allow aid to reach those in need.”
