The Yemeni missile strikes have turned “Israel” into a dangerous destination for international air travel, the Israeli newspaper “Maariv” reported, citing an official in the Israeli entity.
The official emphasized that “Israel” is facing an air isolation due to the hesitation of foreign airlines following the Yemeni missile strikes on Ben Gurion Airport.
The Israeli official noted that unless a drastic security change or peace agreement is achieved, the airport will not return to its normal status.
He said, “The Yemeni missile operations have exposed a weakness in a vital point, which threatens the collapse of the aviation sector in Israel.”
He added that Ben Gurion Airport is experiencing an unprecedented crisis after foreign airlines suspended their flights due to the Yemeni missile threats, pointing out that the economy and tourism in the Israeli entity are being harmed by the ongoing missile threats.
