The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the agreement signed in Muscat regarding the exchange of prisoners in Yemen.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oman said it praised the positive spirit that prevailed throughout the negotiations, which took place from 9-23 December.
Oman commended the cooperation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the efforts of the Office of the UN Special Envoy for Yemen, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and all parties involved in the negotiations.
