Young man martyred in Jericho, woman & child in Gaza, by Israeli enemy forces’ gunfire

A young man was martyred in Jericho city, and a woman and a child in Gaza, by Israeli enemy forces’ gunfire on Tuesday evening.

The Palestinian “Wafa” Agency reported the martyrdom of a young man after being shot by Israeli enemy forces in Jericho city.

It cited the Ministry of Health stating that the young man, Saeed Nael Saeed Al-Sheikh (24 years old), was martyred after being shot by the enemy forces during their raid on Jericho city.

The Director of Jericho Governmental Hospital, Dr. Riyad Eid, confirmed the martyrdom of the young man Saeed Al-Sheikh due to his injury from enemy gunfire in the abdominal area, which caused liver laceration.

The Ministry added that three other citizens sustained varying injuries.

The Agency had previously mentioned that six citizens were injured, including three by live ammunition, two from assault and beating, and a woman after being run over by a military vehicle during the raid on the city.

The same agency also reported the martyrdom of a female citizen by Israeli enemy forces’ gunfire, and a child succumbing to his wounds on Tuesday evening in Gaza.

It cited its correspondent that a female citizen was martyred after being shot by the occupation forces near the Al-Shawaa area, in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

Meanwhile, the child Mohammad Shahdah Abu Hdayed was martyred due to injuries sustained from enemy shelling on the Al-Mawasi area in Khan Younis city, south of the sector, several days ago.

With American and European support, the Israeli enemy army has, for over two consecutive years since October 7, 2023, committed genocide, siege, and starvation crimes in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of 71,803 Palestinian civilians, the majority of whom are children and women, and the injury of 171,570 others, as of today, in a non-final tally, as thousands of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and rescue crews.

A ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip entered into force last October 10, after two consecutive years of Zionist genocidal war. However, the Israeli enemy army commits daily violations of the agreement and continues to prevent the entry of most humanitarian aid into the sector.
