Human Rights Watch warned on Friday that the Israeli army’s destruction of the Qasmiyeh Bridge on Thursday, just hours before the ceasefire was announced, threatens to isolate Lebanese territory south of the Litani River from the rest of Lebanon.
In a post on its X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the organization stated that “the Israeli army’s destruction of the Qasmiyeh Bridge on April 16, just hours before the ceasefire was announced, threatens to isolate Lebanese territory south of the Litani River from the rest of the country.”
