Commander of the Iranian Navy, Admiral Shahram Irani, on Sunday described US President Donald Trump’s threats to impose a naval blockade on Iran as “ridiculous” and “extremely laughable.”
In a statement, he said: “Brave naval personnel are monitoring and tracking all movements of the aggressor US military in the region.”
He added: “The US President’s threats, following the humiliating defeat of his country’s army in the so-called ‘Third Imposed War’, regarding the imposition of a naval blockade on Iran, are ridiculous and extremely laughable.”
