Shura Council condemns Israeli enemy moves in Horn of Africa

Yemen’s Shura Council strongly condemned the suspicious movements and schemes of the Israeli entity in the Horn of Africa, particularly its recent appointment of an ambassador to Hargeisa in the so-called “Somaliland.”

The council described the move as a blatant violation of Somali sovereignty and a direct threat to regional security and stability, as well as to international navigation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden.

It also denounced the continued escalation of US-Israeli aggression against the Islamic
Republic of Iran, reaffirming its support for Iran’s legitimate right to defend its sovereignty and confront any attacks targeting its security and stability, considering this part of the broader battle of the nation against domination projects.

The council further condemned the ongoing criminal Zionist escalation and genocidal war against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, including the crimes committed in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, accompanied by arbitrary arrests, military escalation, and systematic destruction in cities and villages across the occupied West Bank.

The council stressed that these actions reflect the state of confusion and failure faced by the enemy in the face of the resilience and steadfastness of the Axis of Resistance.

It renewed the Yemen’s firm position in supporting the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian cause, until the full liberation of Palestinian land and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
