Five Lebanese citizens killed in Israeli airstrikes on southern country

At least five Lebanese citizens were killed on Wednesday as a result of bombing by Israeli occupation warplanes on areas in southern Lebanon.

The National News Agency reported that two civilians were killed in a drone strike targeting the town of Mayfadoun, while three others were killed in an airstrike that targeted the home of the head of the municipal council in the town of Zlaya in the Western Bekaa region.

The warplanes also launched two separate airstrikes targeting Wadi al-Nahr, located between the towns of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah and Zawtar al-Gharbiyah.
