An Israeli military force, consisting of six vehicles and a small white van, reportedly entered the village of Al-Rafid in the Quneitra countryside inside Syrian territory on Tuesday evening.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on its website on Wednesday that the Israeli vehicles moved within the village and conducted field reconnaissance operations.
Earlier, another patrol had also entered the same village, where it set up a temporary checkpoint and searched several livestock herders in the area, checking their identities before later withdrawing without any reported arrests.
