Hamas: Mladenov is unworthy of assuming transitional administration of Gaza Strip

A member of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Bassem Naim, said that the Executive Director of the Gaza Peace Council, Nikolay Mladenov, is unworthy of assuming the transitional administration of the Gaza Strip, pointing out that he “adopts the position of a biased and suspicious person.”

Naim added in a post on the X platform on Wednesday: “Mladenov is not worthy of being responsible for a transitional administration for our Palestinian people for even one day,” questioning: “How can a person tasked with managing complex negotiations succeed in his mission while he adopts the position of a biased and suspicious person?” according to the Palestinian Sana news agency.

Naim directly addressed Mladenov, saying: “Gaza will not be an item on your resume for career advancement. If the task is beyond you, leave it.”
