Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov discussed, on Friday evening, the latest developments regarding the war and ongoing U.S.-Israeli aggression against Iran.
Araghchi said in a post on his Telegram account, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that he held a phone call with Lavrov in which they reviewed the latest developments and initiatives taken by the Islamic Republic of Iran to end the war and the U.S.-Israeli aggression.
On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a renewed aggression against Iran that lasted 40 days, resulting in thousands of civilian casualties and targeting schools, hospitals, mosques, and other public infrastructure.
In response, Iran launched Operation “True Promise 4” against Israel and U.S. bases in the region.
