Yemen’s FM condemns Zionist violation of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Itamar Ben-Gvir

Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned the storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, describing the move as a provocation against Muslims and a blatant violation of international laws and conventions.

In a statement issued on Friday, the ministry stated that repeated Arab and Islamic condemnation statements, without concrete action, have encouraged the Israeli entity to escalate its violations against Islamic holy sites and the Palestinian people, while continuing its aggression, blockade, and occupation of Palestinian territories.

It called on Arab and Islamic countries to adopt firm and serious positions and work collectively to compel the Israeli occupation to halt its aggression and siege and end its occupation of Palestinian land.

The ministry also reaffirmed Yemen’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their just cause until they obtain their legitimate rights and establish an independent state over all their national territory.
