Eleven people were killed and 44 others wounded on Tuesday evening in Israeli airstrikes on the Masaken neighborhood in Tyre city and the town of Al-Bass in southern Lebanon.
According to Lebanon’s Health Ministry emergency operations, the Tyre strike killed 8 people, including a woman, and injured 35 others, including children and women. In Al-Bass, 3 were killed and 9 wounded.
The strikes come amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire and continued attacks across Lebanon since early March, which have caused heavy casualties and mass displacement.
