Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar reaffirmed continued coordination and close consultations to promote lasting peace and stability in the region.
In a phone call on Friday, Araghchi thanked Pakistan for its hospitality during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s recent visit to Islamabad and expressed hope that agreements reached during the visit would be fully implemented.
Dar praised the visit and briefed Araghchi on Pakistan’s efforts to secure the release of the Iranian crew of the vessel Lynor-Davina.
