The Lebanese Civil Defense, officially known as the General Directorate of the Lebanese Civil Defense, announced that its teams from various centers across the Nabatieh regional district have been conducting evacuation, rescue, and medical transport operations since the morning in response to ongoing attacks targeting the area.
According to a statement carried by Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA), Civil Defense personnel evacuated 47 residents to safer locations and transported 16 martyrs and 12 injured to hospitals.
The agency said its teams continue to carry out humanitarian and relief operations in response to citizens’ emergency calls despite difficult field conditions and ongoing challenges.
