The Anti-Aggression Parties Alliance and Political Forces strongly condemned the dangerous aggressive escalation carried out by the Saudi regime, targeting civilian facilities in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, including the vital port and Kamaran Island.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Coalition pointed out that the Saudi aggressive escalation is a clear continuation of a systematic criminal approach that persists in targeting the Yemeni people’s basic means of life.
It clarified that this aggression comes at a time when the great Yemeni people are raising their voices loudly with their legitimate and just demands to lift the unjust siege imposed on them for 12 years, which has caused one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world.
The statement noted that instead of responding to these just demands, the Saudi regime persists in military escalation—starting with the aggression on Sana’a International Airport, and reaching the targeting of Al-Hodeidah city, its port, and Kamaran Island—in a desperate attempt to break the will of the Yemeni people and increase their suffering.
The Coalition affirmed that this aggressive behavior will only increase the Yemeni people’s steadfastness and resilience, and will not achieve any of the aggressor’s objectives. Rather, it will multiply the magnitude of the historical injustice inflicted on our people. It held the Saudi regime and those behind it fully responsible for all the catastrophic humanitarian and economic repercussions resulting from this escalation.
The statement emphasized that the continuation of this aggression and siege is a crime that cannot be ignored or accepted under any circumstances, regardless of the consequences. It will be met with a full response and deterrence, affirming the principle of siege for siege and port for port, with painful and impactful strikes.
The statement also affirmed that the Yemeni people will remain committed to their legitimate rights to freedom, sovereignty, and the lifting of the siege, and that the aggression machine will not deter them from continuing their legitimate struggle until their full rights are achieved.
