In a statement, the Ministry pointed out that while the Al Saud family, with the help of the Zionists in the past, were able to control the Hijaz and other areas of the Arabian Peninsula, and even confiscated the authentic identity of the people of those regions, Yemen, with its faith-based identity and historical heritage, will inevitably defeat any aggressive project targeting it.
The Ministry stressed that the Yemeni people have not and will not forget the blood of tens of thousands of martyrs, especially women and children, who were killed by the Saudi regime’s criminal air force over the past 12 years.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the criminal Saudi regime must cease its aggression and blockade against our country, or else face the consequences.
It explained that the conflict in the occupied provinces between the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and its outcomes, confirm Sana’a’s narrative that the Saudi regime occupies and controls vast swathes of Yemeni territory, including its oil and mineral wealth.
It pointed out that the quarter of a million Saudi airstrikes on the Republic of Yemen over the past 12 years prove to anyone with even a shred of fairness the reality of what has transpired. It added that the Saudi regime is attempting to hide behind its mercenaries residing in Riyadh hotels.
The Ministry also emphasized that the Saudi regime must understand that the status of Riyadh Airport should be the same as that of Sana’a Airport, and that the status of the ports of Yanbu, Jizan, and others should be the same as that of Hodeida Port, and vice versa.
The ministry asked, “Is the one who launched a quarter of a million airstrikes on Yemen, killing tens of thousands of its people, mostly women and children, truly seeking peace in Yemen? Is the one who caused direct losses and destruction in Yemen, costing more than half a trillion dollars, truly seeking to help the Yemeni people?”
It added, “The criminal and reckless Saudi regime must know that the list is long, and we are enumerating its crimes and the calamities that have befallen the Yemeni people due to its aggression and crimes over the past periods. It must realize that returning to the path of righteousness, justice, and equity is far less costly than continuing its misguided path of aggression.”
The ministry concluded its statement by emphasizing that the Saudi regime’s fallacies, arrogance, and pride will not benefit it in any way. Rather, they will only accumulate its crimes and injustices, which will ultimately lead to its downfall. The demand of the Republic of Yemen is clear: complete independence, undiminished sovereignty, and legitimate rights—nothing less and nothing more. The Yemeni people will accept nothing less, regardless of the scale of developments or the level of events.
