Iran on Monday condemned the attack on Sana’a International Airport, calling it a violation of Yemen’s sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said the attack undermines peace efforts and violates the 2022 ceasefire and subsequent agreements aimed at preventing escalation.
He stressed that targeting a civilian airport and threatening passenger safety are serious violations of international aviation law, affirming Iran’s support for efforts to achieve peace and stability in Yemen.
