The International Maritime Organization (IMO) rejected US President Donald Trump’s call for a 20% tariff on goods passing through the Strait of Hormuz, saying the proposal has “no legal basis.”
The UN maritime agency, which has 175 member states, opposed the move announced by Trump on Truth Social.
