The committee responsible for drafting the international competition regulations for petroleum blocks at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals in Sana’a has finalized the draft of the regulations.
The committee members have signed the document in preparation for completing the statutory procedures required for its official adoption and issuance.
This came during a meeting chaired by the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, where the final procedures of the regulations were reviewed, incorporating the technical and legal feedback presented.
The minister emphasized that the regulations will establish a clear regulatory framework for international bidding that enhances transparency and fairness, and increases investment attractiveness in the oil and gas sector, in alignment with the ministry’s directives to modernize the sector’s legislative and regulatory framework.
