The Palestinian Ministry of Religious Endowments and Affairs documented an escalation in Israeli violations against Islamic holy sites during the month of June. The Ministry stated that Israeli forces stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound 26 times and prevented the call to prayer (Adhan) at the Ibrahimi Mosque 84 times.
In its monthly report, as reported by the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) on Sunday, the Ministry said that this comes within the framework of an ongoing Zionist policy targeting freedom of worship and the historical and legal status of Islamic holy sites.
