The student parade, comprising 75 companies, began in front of the main gate of Sana’a University and the Faculty of Commerce, proceeded past the Faculty of Sharia, and concluded in the main square behind the Faculty of Languages building. The students carried the Yemeni flag, chanting slogans of freedom and disavowal of the enemies of Allah and Islam, along with warnings and calls to arms.
The parade demonstrated the readiness of Sana’a University students and staff to participate in the fifth phase of escalation, and expressed support for the Armed Forces’ statement imposing a maritime blockade on the Saudi enemy, based on the principle of “an eye for an eye.” It also declared their readiness and mobilization for all potential developments and to confront any escalation by the Saudi enemy.
The participants declared their readiness to carry… Rifles are being taken up in jihad for the sake of Allah, in support of Palestine, to break the 11-year siege imposed on Yemen, and in readiness to implement all options necessary to deter the Saudi enemy until the siege is broken, legitimate rights are restored, and the country’s security and sovereignty are achieved.
Minister of Education and Scientific Research Hassan al-Saadi praised the display of faith demonstrated by the students of Sana’a University at this pivotal moment in Yemen’s modern history.
He affirmed that this group of Yemeni students and the university’s mobilization forces came out today to declare their readiness and mobilization in support of the armed forces’ statement imposing a maritime ban on the Saudi enemy.
Al-Saadi pointed out that the Yemeni people are gathering today with strength and resolve to affirm that they are resistant to subjugation, will not accept guardianship from anyone, submit only to Allah, and respond only to Allah’s call. He stressed the necessity of adhering to values, envisioning the future, and standing with the free people of the world, especially the Palestinian people.
Minister al-Saadi explained that the Yemenis, through their approach opposing American and Israeli hegemony, embody the civilization of Muhammadan Islam, which expresses freedom. Dignity, knowledge, goodness, justice, and humanity.
He commended all those who contributed to and participated in preparing and organizing the student parade, from the university administration and the mobilization forces to the Capital Secretariat, which expresses pride and honor that those who wield pens are capable of bearing arms and confronting oppressors and the forces of tyranny and global arrogance.
During the parade, which was attended by the Mayor of Sana’a, Hammoud Ubad, and the Deputy Minister of Information, Dr. Omar al-Bukhaiti, the President of Sana’a University, Dr. Muhammad al-Bukhaiti, affirmed that Sana’a University had gathered today with its students, faculty, and administrators to declare their commitment to Allah, the nation, the leader of the revolution, the political leadership, and the government, and to announce their readiness and preparedness to confront any escalation by the Saudi enemy.
He pointed out that Sana’a University is a university of science and knowledge, and one of the institutions that has been subjected to aggression. It is one of the most important institutions in a unified Yemen, targeted by the aggression and the blockade that has been imposed on the country for more than 11 years and continues to this day, aiming to target the educational process, halt the educational journey, and undermine its outcomes.
Dr. al-Bukhaiti emphasized Al-Bukhaiti stated that Sana’a University, along with all its members, has demonstrated remarkable resilience and perseverance, just like other Yemeni public, private, and community universities. It has emerged equipped with the most innovative and modern educational and academic programs, guided by a sincere and pure faith dedicated to Allah Almighty.
He reviewed the university’s achievements in developing and expanding its undergraduate and graduate programs across various fields, including technology, computer science, engineering, agriculture, commerce, medicine (in its various specializations), law, and media.
Dr. Al-Bukhaiti emphasized that the students’ presentation today embodies their faith-based identity, profound knowledge, and strong connection to Allah, all within the framework of the nation’s project. He affirmed that the youth of Yemen will not succumb to the intellectual invasion that has infiltrated the nation’s youth, enabling the Zionist and American enemies and their proxies to psychologically, morally, intellectually, culturally, and scientifically destroy them.
He saluted those stationed on the front lines, the members of the armed forces, and the manufacturers and producers who have elevated Yemen’s standing through production and manufacturing. And it broke the tyranny of American hegemony that trampled on Arab and Islamic peoples and leaders.
He expressed hope that the students of Sana’a University would rise to the level of responsibility of carrying knowledge and learning in one hand and being ready to take up arms in the other to protect the nation’s sovereignty and achievements.
The student presentation, attended by the Vice Rector of Ibb University, Dr. Ahmed Abu Lahoum, the Vice Rectors of Sana’a University, their assistants, deans of faculties, directors of scientific and research centers, faculty members, and the university’s Secretary General, included a poem by the poet Ahmed Al-Dailami entitled “The Day of Purity and Revenge Remains Revenge.”
