Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei on Sunday criticized Canada for supporting Washington and joining what he called the “illegal US war against Iran.”
He sarcastically said Canada was acting to please Washington, despite US tariffs and threats against Ottawa, concluding: “This is not hockey night in Canada; it is Washington’s reserve team.”
