Hamas confirmed Sunday its approval of the roadmap for the second phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza plan, presented by Peace Council Coordinator Nikolay Mladenov and the mediators.
The movement said the approval seeks a permanent ceasefire, full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, sustained humanitarian aid, reconstruction, and implementation of agreed commitments.
Hamas also urged mediators and the Peace Council to ensure Israel fulfills its obligations under the first phase and begin setting a timetable for the second phase.
