Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said Friday that those anticipating the movement’s collapse based on promises from what he called a “foolish enemy” will wait a long time and ultimately find a movement more deeply rooted in its people and more influential.
In a Facebook post monitored by Saba, Qassem said the movement’s supporters remain loyal to those who sincerely love their homeland, stressing that the Palestinians will continue to stand by them.
