Despite the heavy rain, millions of Yemenis gathered in the capital, Sana’a, and other cities on Friday for mass rallies in support of decisions announced by the leader of the Ansarullah movement, Seyyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, and the Yemeni Armed Forces.
The rallies were held under the banner “Siege for Siege, Escalation for Escalation.”
The Yemeni protesters renewed the absolute mandate to the Leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to take appropriate deterrent measures, declaring full readiness to move on all fronts required by the coming phase of deterrence.
Participants mocked Saudi efforts to rally dozens of countries against Yemen under the pretext of protecting navigation, warning that any state that commits any “folly” would be barred from Red Sea passage, with its ships and interests becoming legitimate targets.
They called on all free Yemenis to join training camps, support the Armed Forces—particularly the missile force and drone air force—to deliver maximum strikes against the Saudi enemy and its patrons.
Demonstrators expressed full solidarity with Iraq, affirming that the “Unity of Arenas” equation will be further consolidated in confronting Zionist-American schemes. They renewed calls for Arab and Islamic peoples to shoulder their religious and moral responsibility and move against the enemies of religion and the entire nation.
A statement issued by the rallies’ organizers affirmed that the marches were “jihad for the sake of God” and renewed “absolute mandate to Leader to take all appropriate decisions to lift the siege and injustice, restore our wealth, sovereignty, freedom, independence, and all our rights.”
The statement praised “the operations of our Armed Forces against the Saudi enemy,” offering “absolute support and full backing to continue imposing the equation of siege for siege and escalation for escalation.”
It condemned “the brutal American-Saudi aggression on the brotherly Iraqi people,” affirming “unity of arenas” and solidarity with Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, and all free forces of the nation against the “axis of evil, criminality, and tyranny.”
The rallies’ statement expressed confidence that Yemen’s “bold and courageous step” of imposing the naval blockade “will compel the enemy to respond to our just demands and lift the injustice from our people. Otherwise, escalation will be met with escalation—we are fully prepared for any price in this just battle.”
The statement warned that the enemy’s goal is “either killing us through starvation and siege, or forcing us to submit to it and its American and Zionist masters”—”this is the essence of impossibility and apostasy.” It affirmed that “in all cases, the cost of the battle is far less than the cost of hesitation.”
It described the Saudi enemy as “a compliant tool in the hands of global Zionism,” driven by “historical hatred of our people, absolute obedience to Zionist enemies, arrogance, and subservience to blackmail from the Epstein scandal files.”
The statement reaffirmed Yemen’s “steadfast position toward the Palestinian cause and Al-Aqsa Mosque,” and its “full readiness for any escalation by enemies—whether against Gaza, the West Bank, Quds, Lebanon, or any front of jihad and resistance.”
