Syria: Israeli artillery shells Damascus countryside

Israeli artillery shelled areas around Beit Jinn in western Damascus countryside Friday evening, including Bat Al-Warda Hill, after an earlier shelling in the morning.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the shells were fired from Israeli positions in the occupied Syrian Golan, with no casualties reported.

The Observatory documented 72 Israeli attacks on Syrian territory since the start of the year, including six airstrikes and 66 ground attacks, killing five people and damaging 13 targets.
