Yemen’s Defense Minister Maj. Gen. Mohammed Nasser Al-Atifi and Chief of General Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Al-Madani congratulated the leader of the Revolution Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din Al-Houthi on the 12th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution.
In a statement, they said the actions of the Armed Forces on various fronts reflect the Revolution’s goals of restoring sovereignty and rejecting dependency, stressing full readiness to implement strategic decisions to deter attacks and protect Yemen’s resources.
They said Yemeni Naval Forces had established a secure maritime arrangement protecting navigation in the Red and Arabian Seas, except for Saudi enemy vessels, warning that Saudi enemy ships would face fire and denial in Yemeni waters.
The two officials warned the Saudi enemy that any attack would be met with a decisive and devastating response, while continued blockade would be met with blockade.
They added that any escalation would trigger costly retaliatory options targeting the enemy’s strategic depth and interests.
