The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Tuesday that they successfully repelled an advance attempt by Saudi-backed military mobilizations south of Bab al-Mandab.
In a statement, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e clarified that the forces were operating under the supervision of Saudi officer Badr al-Harbi, commander of the forward operations base in Aden.

According to Sare’e, Yemeni forces targeted the advancing troops with several ballistic missiles and heavy weapons, inflicting large numbers of casualties and prompting ambulances to rush to the targeted areas.
Sare’e added that several military vehicles belonging to the mobilizations were destroyed.
He warned recruits against responding to calls from Saudi Arabia and its officers, saying they were being sent to their deaths.
