Iran receives 22 crew members from U.S.-seized oil tanker

The Iranian consulate in Karachi has received 22 Iranian sailors who were part of an oil tanker crew allegedly detained by U.S. forces in international waters, following coordination between Iran’s diplomatic mission and Pakistani authorities.

Pakistani officials facilitated their transfer to Karachi, where they were formally handed over to the Iranian consulate. The sailors are expected to be repatriated to Iran in the coming days after completing administrative procedures.
