Iranian lawmaker Ebrahim Azizi rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s accusations that Iran violated the ceasefire, urging him to “respect the rules and use safe routes” in the Strait of Hormuz.
Azizi said on X that the strait is under Iran’s control and warned that Iran’s armed forces would enforce the rules if necessary. He added that Iran’s actions were “ceasefire management,” not a violation.
Trump had claimed Iran launched attack drones at ships in the Strait of Hormuz, accusing Tehran of breaching the ceasefire.
