Tens of thousands of Yemenis took to the streets of the capital Sanaa on Monday to mark the third anniversary of steadfastness in the face of Saudi-led coalition aggression.

The mass rally took place at Sabeen Square in the capital of Sana’a.

In the event, President of Political Council, Saleh al-Samad announced the launching of state building project coincided with the beginning of the fourth Year of steadfastness in the Face of Saudi-led coalition aggression on Yemen.

“This trend coincided with a battle being fought against the Saudi-American assaults in several fronts,” he added.

“Our battle today in defending Yemen and to regain its independence and build the state”, al-Samad said.

He reaffirmed that Yemenis want a just and honorable peace that guarantees the freedom and dignity of the Yemeni people, stressing their readiness to set in peace talks and to deal with any initiatives that would end the aggression and lift the blockade on Yemen.
