The United Nations announced on Wednesday that a number of its employees were killed during the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian city of Gaza.

The organization reported in a statement that 9 of its UNRWA employees were killed as a result of Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip.

Since last Saturday, Israeli occupation aircraft have launched hysterical bombardment on residential neighborhoods in Gaza, causing the death of nearly 1,000 civilians and the injury of more than 5,000 others, with an infinite toll.
