Israeli occupation forces released on Monday evening “Al Jazeera” correspondent Ismail al-Ghoul along with other journalists after detaining them for 12 hours at Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Ghoul said after his release that Israeli forces destroyed media equipment and arrested journalists gathered in a room used by media teams. He said the journalists were stripped of their clothes and forced to lie on their stomachs as they were blindfolded and their hands tied.

” We were forced to surrender ourselves to the occupation forces, who forced us to take off our clothes completely,” he added.

Earlier on Monday, “Al Jazeera” announced that the enemy army had arrested its correspondent al-Ghoul from inside the Shifa Medical Complex, in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City.
