Informed sources revealed the arrival of a new group of Emirati officers to Abdul Kuri Island on the island of the Socotra Archipelago.
The sources explained that about 19 Emirati officers arrived on the island last Monday, on board an Emirates Airlines plane in a civilian capacity as a camouflage, after a number of Emirati and foreign officers, including British and Israelis, arrived during the past days to the island, where the UAE is currently building a military base ,military airport control and communications towers.
Observers believe that these moves may be to put the final touches on completing the equipment at the UAE military base that the UAE forces established on the island.
