Yemen’s armed forces revealed details of the Saudi attack on the Central Prison in Al-Hazm city, Al-Jawf Governorate, last Monday, which killed 23 civilians, with the death toll expected to rise.
In a statement, Yemeni military spokesperson Brig. Gen. Yahya Sare’e said the Saudi warplane took off at 16:30 from King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait and returned at 16:45 after carrying out the two strikes.
“The two strikes caused a large number of casualties among inmates and visitors, including children and women,” Sare’e said.
He added that the Saudi enemy’s attempts to evade responsibility for its crimes and aggression against our country will not spare it the consequences.
The military spokesperson stressed that the Saudi enemy will not escape the consequences of its aggression, no matter how it tried to cover up its crimes.
