As Yemeni armed forces ramp up their operations in support of Gaza, targeting Israeli ships en route to ports in occupied Palestine, along with American and British vessels, specialized maritime sources have reported that navigating the Red Sea has become increasingly challenging and nearly impossible for ships associated with Israel.
“Red Sea transits now ‘impossible’ for ships with US, UK or Israel ties,” Lloyd’s List reported, citing insurance companies.
For its part, the giant shipping company “MAERSK” , has indicated that ships routes in the Red Sea will continue to be diverted as attacks from Yemen intensify .
