At least 12 Palestinian citizens were killed, and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting different areas in the Gaza Strip early on Friday.
Palestinian sources reported that the photojournalist Amr Al-Derawi and his parents were killed in an Israeli strike targeting the Shalt family home in Az-Zawayda town in central Gaza.
Earlier, four civilians were killed and others were injured in Israeli strikes that targeted a house belonging to the Salman family and a nearby tent west of Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza.
A civilian was also killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house near Abdel Aal junction on Al-Jalaa Street in western Gaza City. Another civilian was killed after Israeli aircraft targeted the Abu Al-Ajin area east of Deir Al-Balah city.
The sources also reported that the death toll from an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the Mishmish family in a residential tower in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza has risen to five, including two children.
The Zionist aggression on Gaza by land, sea and air since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 45,581, mostly women and children, and the injury of 108,438 others.
