The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday that they had shot down a Saudi unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) while it was conducting a reconnaissance mission in Yemen’s northwestern province of Hajjah.
“With the help of Allah Almighty, the Yemeni Armed Forces were able to shoot down a ‘Karayel’ spy drone belonging to the Saudi enemy while it was carrying out hostile actions in the airspace of Al-Tinah area in Hajjah governorate,” Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, wrote on X.
