The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) have strongly condemned the “brutal crimes” committed by Takfiri groups against civilians on the Syrian coast, describing them as “genocide and war crimes.”
In a statement released on Monday, the JMP asserted that these crimes aim to “break the will of the Syrian people and destabilize them.”
The statement called the massacres a “flagrant violation of all international norms and laws” and revealed attempts to “tear apart the unity of Syria” in service of the “Zionist project.”
The JMP called on the international community to establish an independent investigation committee to hold the perpetrators and their backers accountable and to put an end to the ongoing crimes against the Syrian people.
The statement reiterated Yemen’s support for a “unified Syria and its steadfast people,” who are facing both “internal aggression by Takfiri groups and ongoing external aggression by the Israeli enemy.”
The JMP emphasized Israel’s continued occupation and encroachment on Syrian lands and its violations of Syrian sovereignty.
