Two civilians were killed today by Israeli occupation forces’ fire in the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
According to Palestinian sources, Muhammad Asfour, 42, died of wounds he sustained in an Israeli drone strike yesterday in the town of Abasan al-Jadida, east of Khan Yunis.
Hamdan Imad Qishta, a player for the Shabab Rafah Club, also died of critical wounds he sustained by Israeli occupation forces’ fire in Rafah.
The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 48,515 since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023, and the number of wounded has risen to 111,941.
Despite the ceasefire agreement coming into effect on January 19, the occupation continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding dozens of civilians in recent weeks.
Meanwhile, Israeli tanks continue to demolish residents` homes, destroy and cause massive damage to their properties.
