Several Palestinian civilians killed and others injured on Monday when Israeli aircraft bombed a house in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources, citing medical sources, reported that five martyrs and several wounded were taken to the Gaza European Hospital after the Israeli airstrike on a house in the town of Khuza’a, east of Khan Yunis.
Israeli artillery also shelled the southern areas of Khan Yunis, along with heavy gunfire in the southern Gaza Strip.
A fisherman was injured by Israeli gunfire after Israeli forces opened fire on fishing boats in the Mawasi area of Rafah. The Israeli army also blew up residential homes in the northern areas of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.
Israeli artillery targeted the eastern part of the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, and Israeli aircraft bombed the Sha’af area, east of the city.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, killing 50,944 civilians, the majority of whom were children and women, and wounding 116,156 others.
This is a preliminary toll, with a number of victims still buried under the rubble and on the streets, unable to be reached by ambulances and rescue teams.
